  Troubleshooting Guide
The export application refuses to start.

This problem is common when a new version of the application has just been deployed. The first thing to try is removing the application from the Java WebStart cache. This can be achieved by following the below steps:

  • Click on the "Start" icon in the lower left hand corner of your screen, followed by clicking on the "Run" menu choice.
  • In the run box, type "javaws -viewer" (w/o the quotes) and hit "Enter"
  • Select "Malta SAD Export System" entry and then click on the "Remove Selected Application". Alternatively, right-click on the entry and select the delete option.
  • Retry launching the application

Another way to remove the application is by using the standard windows mechanism, that is, from the "Add or Remove Programs". Go to the Control Panel and double click the "Add or Remove Programs" icon. Once the list of installed programs on the system shows up, fetch "Malta SAD Export System", highlight it and click on the "Remove" button.
